Net zero is the milestone. Net positive is the ambition

Net zero is the milestone. Net positive is the ambition.
And between the two, there is a lot worth building.
On Tuesday, Jonathan hosted Beyond Net Zero: Building the Carbon Economy at the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM) with +Net Positive.
From CDR policy maps, “finding Waldo” in complex carbon systems and state-of-the-art calcination technology to artichoke analogies in Enhanced Weathering, our Research to Startup Night showed that the carbon economy is not only a scientific challenge, but also a space for builders.
40+ students, researchers, founders and climate-tech enthusiasts spent an evening in what felt like 40+ degrees heat to explore one question:
What is worth building in the carbon economy?
A big thank you to our speakers and researchers on stage for sharing their perspectives and answering the many questions from the audience:
Nicoletta Brazzola, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jakob Burger, Simon Reiter, Tony Oehm and Malte Toetzke.
And thank you to ZeroEx and Litherm Technologies GmbH for supporting the evening and making food & drinks possible.
