Lukas Rinder is Director of AI at Recogni and leads a nine-person AI-engineering team. At Recogni, he and his colleagues turn research-grade neural networks into efficient code for the company’s AI accelerator and help shape its next-generation chips. A CDTM alumnus and one of the first hires in Recogni’s Munich office, he has seen the company grow from stealth mode to a transatlantic deep-tech scale-up.

Recogni builds energy-efficient hardware for large-scale AI inference. Its first chip, Scorpio, delivers up to 1000 TOPS while keeping power consumption low, serving data-center AI and autonomous-mobility workloads.
