Its cost-efficient and vast network of sea routes connects producers, consumers, and nations, ensuring the availability of goods, raw materials, and energy resources worldwide. Beyond economic significance, it creates millions of jobs, supports energy security, and plays a pivotal role in sustainability efforts, making it an indispensable driver of both prosperity and environmental responsibility on a global scale.
